Spray Tan Apocalypse explained...

The EP Spray Tan Apocalypse is comprised of a 6 track song cycle written about the 2016 U.S. presidential election. The lyrics describe impressions of events starting around August 2016 and going through March 2017.

As you can tell from the title, these are not exactly happy memories of glory days, but there is, at least, an attempt to understand the point of view of the Trump supporter - something that was at first an unfathomable mystery from our point of view...

The songs generally start out sounding quite whimsical: "ha,ha pretty entertaining: Trump..." and then, as the campaigns progressed, the tunes get more, ominous, alarmed & alarming - finally ending up in bemused irony mixed with sadness and depression...c'est la vie sometimes eh? Though in the chorus of Horizon of Hope there is a faint glimmer of optimism...
